The Menu Layer allows you to set on-screen elements that will appear throughout the interactive video and will be always available to the viewer.
The Menu Layer is located as a separate menu in the Library side menu. It has:
- ON/OFF button for the feature (similar to the Background Soundtrack)
- Pencil icon which will open the the Menu Layer Editor.
When you turn the menu layer ‘on’, it will apply to all the nodes in the project (existing and future). Once applied, the menu will appear in the node editor with a red hue, to distinguish it from other elements.
Removing the menu layer from select nodes
You can choose to remove the menu layer from some nodes in your project:
- In the node editor – uncheck the “Enable Menu” checkbox at the bottom of the element layers list.
- In the tree area – In the tree area, select ‘remove menu layer’ from the right-click menu.
Tip: Turn on ‘Menu Layer View’ in the tree area to see which nodes contain a menu layer.
